Fractionated Coconut Oil

Hola,

To all you that are snow bound, I hope you are doing okay.  To all you that are living in sunshine, I'm jealous!  LOL  We got six inches of snow and that is about 5.8 inches too much for me!  But, life goes on and so shall we.  :)

I had never heard of fractionated coconut oil before, so I did some research.  Fractionated coconut oil is a fraction of the whole oil.  Well that cleared things up!  Ha!  Some of its uses is medical, industrial and cosmetics.  It is not a total virgin coconut oil.

However, I prefer it for what I need coconut oil for, which is for hair, skin and a carrier oil for essential oils.  It is much easier to apply and very convenient.

This is a large bottle, a little goes a long way.  It is "oily" so one needs to rub it in pretty well.

I use it as a carrier oil for essential oils, such as peppermint.  A good peppermint oil can leave a burning sensation on the skin.  I had a headache and decided to put some peppermint oil on the back of my neck, without using a carrier oil.  It was like:  "Let me take your mind off your headache by burning a hole in the back of your neck."  Blahaha!  Do not try this at home folks!  Haaaa!
Use this great fractionated oil to mix it with.

I have used other products from Majestic Pure and found them to be a reputable company.

Fractionated Coconut Oil may be purchased at Amazon.

Eucalyptus Essential OIl

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Hi,hi!

Aromatherapy is really big in the news now a days.  Our sense of smell is amazing!  If one cannot smell something, their sense of taste is often diminished or gone also.  Weird, huh?

Essential oils are also all the rage, and I have joined the band wagon and bought a diffuser to use for essential oils.  For instance, I would use Eucalyptus Essential Oil, if I had a cold, or just felt kind of draggy.

This is extremely powerful oil.  One does not even have to open the bottle before smelling the beautiful smell of this oil.  It is lovely!
I broke my ankle 2.5 years ago.  I still have a lot of pain at the surgical site and my two end toes.  I rub this on my toes and it helps relieve the pain.  I do not know why, I do not know how.  I do not care how.  :)  I just know that it helps and that I likey!

Here are some of the companies claims:

SKIN HEALTH clear oil skin and acne, soothes blisters, burns, wounds, insect bites. BOOST ENERGY combat jet lag, stop fatigue. SOOTHE SORE MUSCLES and JOINTS. RESPIRATORY HEALTH (Combat congestion, symptoms of cold, flu, sore throat, viruses, fight fever. BOOST CIRCULATION. EASE PAIN & INFLAMMATION. ELIMINATE LICE naturally. Amazing Natural Home Cleaner

One may purchase Eucalyptus Essential Oil  on Amazon.

I would recommend this brand of essential oils to family/friends.

doTERRA Lifelong Vitality Pack

Welcome to another edition of Dragonfly Tales!  What will we get into today?  Will I divulge any more of my private life?  I don't know!  ha!  I never know until I start to write, then sometimes things just pop out!  Things flow in and out of my mind quickly, if I don't catch them in time, they are gone.  And, I am left to wonder... what was it I was thinking about?  ;)  I think there is a pill for that.

"They" say the older one gets, the faster time passes.  I have found this to be true in my life.  I find it hard to believe it is nearing the end of March.  My Dad once told me his weeks consist of Monday and Friday.  Some days I feel as though I do nothing, but the week is over before I know it.  I remember a saying I heard many years ago:  "If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself".  Well, I have stepped up to the plate and have started taking more responsibility towards my physical health.

With this in mind, I talked with my friend Gina.  Gina is a Wellness Coach for doTERRA Essential Oils.  She provided me with a doTERRA Lifelong Vitality Pack at no charge in exchange for my honest review of the product.
This pack includes a 30 day supply of Alpha CRS+,xEO Mega, and Microplex VMz.  They are made with vegetable capsules and softgels.

Some of the benefits of these vitamins include:  Cellular Longevity, Cellular Inflammatory Response, Cellular Energy, Powerful DNA Protection, Network Antioxidant Defense, Immune System Support, Stress Management, Cardiovascular Health, Bone and Joint Health, Brain/Cognitive Health (see, I told ya there was a pill for that) and Digestive Health.

I know there has been some debate as to whether taking oral vitamins are beneficial or not, but I have personally had blood work done to check vitamin levels.  I found that I was low on vitamin D.  After taking oral Vitamin D, my blood work now shows that I have a normal range of Vitamin D.  So, I am convinced that taking vitamins orally do work.  I also feel that one should take any vitamin regime for three months before deciding if they are beneficial to them.

I met Gina  through my daughter.  She is a lovely woman.  I trust her judgement.  She uses these products for her family.  Her 13 year old son was there when I visited her to talk with her about doTERRA and he was very informative about the products!  This reiterated to me that Gina's whole family is a doTERRA family.  If you have any questions, she would be very happy to talk with you and guide you into what choices would be best for you, whether it be vitamins or essential oils.

One may contact Gina in the following ways:  phone: 740-879-4294

Thank you Gina!  Also, in case you missed it, Gina did a guest post that may be found HERE
