Hola!
How are you today? I hope things are going well in your life. I am doing well. I have a little bit of winter time blahs. But, it is only because I'm not fond of minus degree weather! :) Some love the cold and snow, some do not. But, one thing most of us can agree on is.... one can NEVER have too many kitchen utensils! Ha!
I have a dandy utensil to share with you today. It is a Danish Dough Whisk. As you will see in the pictures, it is quite unique, just like you!
To be honest, I asked to review it because it looks kind of "old fashioney" to me. Like something one would find in a old country kitchen.
After, receiving it, I thought this is not going to work, how can it?
Boy was I ever wrong! (My being wrong doesn't happen often, so make note of it. LOL)
The whisk has a long very sturdy wooden handle. Which is attached to the whisk with a stainless steel ring. It measures 13.5 inches. The added length of the handle really lets one dig into that dough and whisk away!
The rounded shape makes it ideal for scraping down the sides of the bowl. As one can see in the last picture, where I have just pushed the dough down the sides of the bowl using the whisk.
My grand-daughter was also intrigued by it and she offered to do some whisking too!
I know it might seem odd to be excited about a whisk, but I am truly impressed with this utensil.
Wouldn't it be cute with a red ribbon tied around it with a note saying something like "Valentine you whisked me away!" Okay, maybe not that, but you get my drift.
Any baker would be pleased with this whisk, and I believe it is sturdy enough to be passed down to the next generation.
They offer a 100% guarantee on it, so you might as well take it for a spin!
Danish Dough Whisk may be purchased on Amazon.
WISHING MUCH LOVE AND HAPPINESS TO YOU ALL!!
